Love those faded ads on French Quarter buildings and this is a new one on me. Good eye, Mermaid!

Arthur, for all the years and hundreds of times I've walked by this building, this was the first time I ever noticed that sign!

That's just how it is, isn't it?

Love those faded ads too ... they bear original witness to long gone times. Unfortunately they become less and less here as they are painted over, or the buildings are demolished, or they simply become undecipherable.

You weren't the only one to wonder.

I noticed that building for the first time not long ago. Lived here my entire loss.

I have never taken a liver pill. What do they purport to do?

Rob, I have no idea what liver pills were supposed to do. Maybe they were for people who drank too much!

Termite, you're the best! xo

Probably why they went out of business,Charlotte. No one in New Orleans drinks too much. :)
